NPW Manufacturing Assistant

About the role

The NPW Manufacturing Assistant supports the Manufacturing Excellence team in a fast‑paced semiconductor fab. The role focuses on Non‑Productive Wafer (NPW) management, ensuring material availability, smooth production flow and zero quality impact.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and expedite NPW lots to meet daily production plans and on‑time delivery targets.
• Control NPW work‑in‑process, plan starts and recycling, and maintain housekeeping of NPW inventory.
• Generate daily reports on cost, moves and inventory; perform basic data analysis using Google Sheets, JMP or Power BI.
• Identify and troubleshoot potential wafer issues.
• Lead improvement projects aimed at reducing NPW cost, inventory, and increasing flow efficiency and tool time.
• Operate production equipment in assigned cleanroom areas for SOI and Refresh product lines.
• Execute operations according to SOPs and prevent non‑conformances and wafer scrap.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC or ‘O’/‘A’ level education with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with cleanroom protocols.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour day or night shifts in a cleanroom environment, wearing the required gowning.
• Semiconductor fab experience is preferred.
