Operations Management Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking an Operations Management Manager to lead production and supply‑chain activities at its Singapore facility. The role focuses on optimizing resources, ensuring on‑time delivery, and driving continuous improvement in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and monitor production metrics, budgets, and corrective actions.
• Control project schedules, timelines, and plant capacity.
• Plan and evaluate optimal resource utilization to minimize costs and meet delivery commitments.
• Direct, guide, and evaluate personnel to achieve production and supply‑chain goals while adhering to 5S, safety, and quality procedures.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects to refine production methods, reduce cycle time, and increase profitability.
• Identify and pursue new technologies that enhance efficiency and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with senior management to align operational development with business opportunities.
• Provide mentorship, training, and development for direct reports to ensure high‑quality performance.
