Operations Specialist – R&D

About the role

The Operations Specialist (R&D) will support pilot‑plant activities, ensuring smooth, compliant operations and contributing to process and formulation development. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality and research teams to drive continuous improvement and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct process change impact assessments and support change‑control activities.
• Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits, including GMP walk‑downs.
• Maintain the APP GMP program and ensure documentation remains compliant.
• Support investigations of safety and quality events, perform root‑cause analysis and implement CAPA.
• Coordinate pilot‑plant trials, process characterization studies and scale‑up activities.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, drive operational improvements and support predictive modeling.

Required profile

• Experience in GMP‑regulated environments, preferably in pharmaceutical or nutrition manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment, SOP development and deviation management.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate findings clearly.
