About the role
The Packaging Technician is an individual contributor who works with limited supervision to support production activities. The role requires applying technical knowledge to meet specific production needs and ensure product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Set‑up, calibrate and operate packaging machines and related equipment.
- Follow production schedules and adhere to quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and identify any deviations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems on the product line or process to minimise reject rates.
- Maintain documentation of machine settings and production data.
Required profile
- Technical Diploma or equivalent (approximately 12 years of education).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or packaging environment.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Machine set‑up and calibration.
- Operation of packaging equipment.
- Production monitoring and quality control.
- Technical troubleshooting.
