Principal QMS Engineer – Semiconductor

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing semiconductor manufacturer expanding in Singapore, is looking for a Principal QMS Engineer. You will own the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, shaping a robust quality culture across manufacturing, engineering and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of the QMS, ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Drive certification efforts, manage internal and external audits, and maintain audit readiness.
• Develop, maintain and enforce quality policies, procedures and corrective‑action processes.
• Own and apply IATF Core Tools such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plans.
• Coach cross‑functional teams on quality standards and support broader manufacturing improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of QMS or quality experience, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, with auditor certification preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plans.
• Excellent audit, stakeholder‑management and problem‑solving capabilities.
