Procurement Specialist: Commodity Management & Sourcing

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will manage supplier performance, drive cost savings, and support working capital targets across multiple regions. You will ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, maintain quality standards, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on procurement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned commodities, aligned with global or local plans.
• Negotiate agreements with suppliers for raw materials and monitor spend.
• Manage supplier performance to guarantee continuous supply and quality.
• Create local, regional, and global savings opportunities.
• Support the achievement of working capital and creditor targets.
• Maintain control over company expenditure and ensure proper fund responsibility.
• Apply project‑management discipline to track tasks, resources, milestones, and measures.
• Communicate project objectives and priorities with key stakeholders.
• Prepare and analyse spend and costing reports.
• Ensure new products, processes, equipment or chemicals receive EHS approval before implementation and mitigate identified risks.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of procurement processes, policies, and systems.
• Experience in spend analysis and cost reporting.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Ability to support multiple global entities (e.g., Singapore, United States, Switzerland).
• Awareness of EHS requirements and risk‑mitigation practices.
