Production Management Engineer (12 rotating shift)

About the role

The Production Management Engineer is responsible for leading a 12‑hour rotating shift in a high‑volume semiconductor fab. You will manage the team, execute the production plan and ensure safety, quality and output targets are achieved in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Run the shift by coordinating manpower, assigning tasks and managing breaks while maintaining production output.
• Meet production targets, control work‑in‑process linearity and maximize equipment capacity.
• Drive yield and quality improvements and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Allocate manpower efficiently, enforce production discipline and support multi‑skill training.
• Plan and execute improvement activities to increase moves, turns and overall equipment utilization.
• Foster a safe, green and healthy work environment and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
• Contribute to cost‑reduction initiatives and support human‑resource management to build a progressive workforce.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing, Electronics, Mechanical or a related technical field.
• 2–5 years of experience in high‑volume manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor, electronics or a clean‑room/automated environment.
• Strong communication, coaching and conflict‑handling abilities.
• Proven capability to organise manpower, assign tasks and manage shift breaks while sustaining output.
• Comfortable working in a 24/7 rotating‑shift environment, including weekends and nights.
