Production Technician

About the role

The Production Technician will operate the Antioxidant (AO) manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with production, environment, health & safety (EHS) and quality standards. The role requires familiarity with both DCS panel and field operations and will be performed under the guidance of the Production Engineer.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production units according to EHS rules, SOPs and instructions.
• Execute field routines such as raw material and catalyst filling, SAMACO rounds, LOTO preparation, 5S inspections and filter changes.
• Follow emergency shutdown procedures via DCS and act as a fire‑fighting brigade member when required.
• Perform in‑process sampling, testing and simple maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot equipment, initiate corrective actions and maintain accurate documentation, including log books.
• Participate in plant safety activities, housekeeping and reporting of accidents or unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a chemical plant environment.
• Basic understanding of chemical processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP PM is a plus.

• LOTO procedures and PPE management.

• In‑process sampling and testing.
