Project Engineer – Managed Print Services

About the role

The Project Engineer will plan, deploy, implement, maintain and support Managed Print Services (MPS) solutions for enterprise customers. Working closely with project managers, sales, service delivery teams, vendors and customers, the role ensures successful delivery of print projects while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end deployment of MPS projects, including hardware, software, firmware and network components.
• Install, configure and support print management software.
• Provide on‑site, remote and in‑house technical assistance, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues.
• Perform firmware updates, preventive maintenance and hardware upgrades.
• Coordinate project implementation to meet timelines and document progress.
• Work directly with customers to resolve technical problems and ensure a positive service experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, technical work and project status.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Professional Certificate/Nitec, Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT support, printer support or technical support.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Managed Print Services (MPS) deployment and support.
• Print management solutions such as Papercut, YSoft, uniFlow, SafeCom, Equitrac, Controlsuite.
• Windows and macOS operating environments.
• Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Windows 10/11.
• Basic networking and server administration.
• Firmware updates and preventive hardware maintenance.
• Remote technical assistance and troubleshooting.
