Project Execution Engineer – Ocean Division

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a self‑motivated Project Execution Engineer for its Ocean Division. You will lead customer projects from contract signing through commissioning and start‑up, ensuring technical, schedule, and cost targets are met while supporting the company’s mission to create sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and implement detailed execution plans for assigned projects.
• Monitor progress, performance, and costs to align with profitability targets.
• Proactively resolve operational issues and minimise delays throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, coordinate, and allocate internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Technical, Factory, and Service departments for specialised support.
• Manage third‑party contractors, ensuring quality and integration with internal activities.
• Oversee on‑site activities, support commissioning, start‑up, and warranty‑period troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable university.
• 3–5 years of experience in project engineering or execution, covering the full project lifecycle.
• Proven ability to work in international, cross‑cultural environments and to communicate clearly.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience with project reporting tools such as Click Up.
• Familiarity with PPM (Project Portfolio Management) software.
