Purchasing Executive

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Purchasing Executive to join our fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) team. You will be responsible for sourcing products, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring inventory is replenished efficiently to support business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure products, materials, and supplies based on business requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to guarantee product availability.
• Generate and manage Purchase Orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Liaise with suppliers on quotations, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and terms to achieve cost savings.
• Track orders and resolve delivery, quality, and supply‑related issues.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, Operations, and Finance teams.
• Analyze purchasing trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports in the ERP system.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Experience in FMCG, distribution, retail, or related industries is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems.
