Manager Transportation Operations APAC

About the role

The Manager, Transportation Operations APAC is responsible for leading end‑to‑end transportation operations across Asia Pacific, ensuring reliable, compliant, cost‑effective, and resilient movement of products across regional and inter‑regional networks. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Quality, Trade Compliance, Customer Service, external logistics providers, and global transportation teams to drive operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead transportation execution across air, ocean, road, parcel and multimodal modes, ensuring on‑time delivery and service continuity.
• Own performance metrics, drive improvements in service, lead time, quality and cost, and conduct governance reviews with carriers, 3PLs, 4PLs and customs brokers.
• Develop and execute risk mitigation and business continuity plans for disruptions such as geopolitical events, capacity constraints, weather impacts and labor actions.
• Oversee freight spend, budget performance and cost‑optimization initiatives through network optimization, mode selection and consolidation strategies.
• Support new product introductions and lane activations, ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory and trade requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing international transportation operations across Asia Pacific in a global, matrixed environment.
• Proven ability to lead complex operational issues, cross‑functional initiatives and transportation disruptions.
• Strong analytical, financial, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
