Quality Engineer

About the role

PerkinElmer is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement across its manufacturing operations. The role combines audit leadership, CAPA management, and customer support to uphold the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate product regulatory compliance testing according to local, national, and international standards, including NRTL inspections from UL and TÜV Rheinland.
• Plan and lead internal audits and support cross‑site audits.
• Support Notified Body QMS audits, maintain and update QMS procedures.
• Initiate and chair monthly CAPA meetings, maintain the CAPA master list, ensure timely progress and validate effectiveness.
• Coordinate tools and jigs calibration activities and maintain the health of production measurement equipment.
• Support software validation processes and maintain validation record master lists.
• Provide internal quality procedure and work instruction training.
• Identify deviations from certification requirements in production, conduct fault analysis, and execute engineering changes.
• Support customer complaint handling and follow escalation procedures when necessary.
• Support customer surveys on QMS and EHS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in customer quality, process quality, or engineering roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Strong oral and written communication with analytical and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently and proactively.
• Self‑motivated and capable of managing multiple complex tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
