Quality Engineer – QEM Product Quality Engineering (PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our QEM Product Quality Engineering (PQE) team. You will monitor and drive continuous improvement for the quality and reliability of cutting‑edge memory and storage products manufactured in Fab10, supporting wafer‑level development, validation, and qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve quality and reliability of products exiting the fab, including wafer‑level reliability sampling for outgoing quality control.
• Collect and analyse wafer‑level reliability data, manage reliability scorecards, and drive fab activities to improve extrinsic, intrinsic, and process reliability.
• Ensure reliability and quality indicators (OQRM, Probe, Parametric, Inline metrics) meet targets.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives for product grades and high‑stack eligibility.
• Act as fab representative for customer issue resolution and RMA handling.
• Support risk assessment for excursion materials and manage the MRB process with the Global Quality team.
• Coordinate follow‑on qualification activities during high‑volume manufacturing and ensure critical milestones are met.
• Participate in site quality programs, defense‑line initiatives, and build strong partnerships with Global Quality and Process Engineering teams.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness while complying with standards and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or advanced degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organisational levels.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑task projects to completion.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wafer fabrication technology for advanced NAND memory products.
• Experience with reliability analysis and reliability scorecard management.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted tools and data‑driven improvement methods.
• Understanding of quality metrics such as OQRM, Probe, Parametric, and Inline measurements.
