Senior Engineer - Fleet Health

About the role

Airbus Singapore is hiring a TSP Senior Engineer for its Flight Hour Services (FHS) entity, based in the Singapore area. The engineer supports the Fleet Health Lead in delivering Fleet Watch and health monitoring services to the SIA A380 fleet and provides operational support to the SCOOT A320 family fleet. The role keeps the fleets at the highest operational reliability in line with EASA and CAAS airworthiness requirements and Airbus technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out pre-departure checks and flight watch activities on a shift basis
• Monitor recurring defects and trends using AIRMAN and SKYWISE
• Support daily operations at the main base and outstations
• Give MRO engineering recommendations for predictive and preventive maintenance
• Help expedite critical modifications at line maintenance and manage MRO daily tasks
• Support AOG events, troubleshooting, report preparation and follow-up
• Assess defect rectification opportunities and communicate emerging fleet issues to the TSP Engineering Team
• Act as the link between Airbus Head Office Customer Support and customer support projects, and provide technical support outside office hours on shift and duty basis
• Support ad-hoc local and overseas missions
• Support the business case for AOTP improvement, take part in SKYWISE development and trials, and contribute to TSC/RIC/TRM discussions

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Engineering or aircraft maintenance licence holder
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in airline, MRO or OEM engineering or technical positions
• Class 3/3A driver's licence
• Maintenance environment experience is a strong advantage
