Recruitment Consultant

About the role

As a Recruitment Consultant you will act as a full‑cycle recruiter, guiding candidates from the initial job brief through to successful placement and beyond. You will develop market expertise, build strong client relationships and contribute to the growth of Ambition’s client base, candidate network and internal culture.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage recruitment assignments from intake to placement.
• Create and execute business development strategies to attract new clients.
• Convert prospects into long‑term clients through proactive relationship building.
• Gather structured feedback from clients after placements.
• Build, manage and maintain high‑quality candidate talent pools.
• Develop trusted relationships with candidates throughout their careers.
• Support candidates with interview preparation, offer management and post‑placement engagement.
• Continuously refine subject‑matter expertise and establish a strong market presence.

Required profile

• Experience in recruitment, sales, business development or customer relationship management.
• Previous experience within agency recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and candidates.
• Commercially minded with a customer‑focused approach.
• Self‑motivated, resilient, results‑driven and positive.
• Creative thinker who challenges the status quo and proposes innovative solutions.
