About the role
The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at NTU Singapore is recruiting a research associate to support the Temasek Labs project CRATOL (Cryptanalysis with Tools Development). The project focuses on cryptography and automated cryptanalysis, and the candidate will carry out research implementation work.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research implementations on cryptography, automated cryptanalysis and machine learning
- Help prepare reports and presentations for the project
- Publish relevant results at cryptography and/or machine learning conferences and journals
Required profile
- MSc in Mathematics and/or Electronics and/or Computer Science
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiative
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Required skills
- Expertise in automated cryptanalysis is a strong plus
- Expertise in machine learning is a strong plus
