About the role
The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), part of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is hiring a Research Fellow to advance AI-driven multi-omics research for precision medicine and healthy aging. The role focuses on developing and applying computational and artificial intelligence approaches.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct scientific research on multi-omics data
- Develop new algorithms for multi-omics data integration
- Apply for funding and grants
- Write scientific manuscripts
- Maintain bioinformatics pipelines in the lab
Required profile
- A Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a relevant major
- A strong track record of publications or preprints in relevant areas
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in English and exceptional writing abilities
- Prior experience in microbiome and metabolome research is advantageous
Required skills
- Data analysis using R, Python or similar programming languages
- Multi-omics data analysis and algorithm development
