About the role
The School of Biological Sciences (SBS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join its team in advancing cytoskeleton technology. The successful candidate will use interdisciplinary approaches to investigate cellular processes and develop innovative tools in cell biology.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct experimental research using quantitative biochemistry, biophysics and cell biology.
- Develop and optimise advanced technologies targeting cytoskeletal dynamics.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within SBS and with external partners.
- Analyse, interpret and present research findings in written reports and publications.
- Contribute to the preparation of grant applications and scientific manuscripts.
Required profile
- A PhD in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Biophysics or a related discipline.
- Strong background in cell biology, particularly in cytoskeleton-related research.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and work collaboratively.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
