Retail Supervisor

About the role

The Retail Supervisor acts as the second‑in‑command of a sports and lifestyle store, supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, staffing, reporting and inventory control. You will lead shift briefings, ensure brand‑consistent visual merchandising, and help drive sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with staffing, reporting and inventory matters.
• Conduct daily briefings for each shift team.
• Maintain deep product knowledge of brands such as The North Face, Nike, Timberland, Columbia and Sun & Sand Sports to guide customers.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandisers to keep the store aligned with brand guidelines and attractive displays.
• Drive sales targets by increasing units per transaction (UPT) and average transaction value (ATV) and encouraging repeat customers.
• Oversee store opening, closing and transaction procedures in line with SOPs.
• Safeguard stock, inventory, mannequins and store assets at all times.
• Perform regular stock counts and receive merchandise to prevent losses.
• Represent the company by adhering to brand standards and retail policies.

Required profile

• Passion for sports and lifestyle products.
• Minimum 1 year of retail management experience, including acting as Person‑In‑Charge.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven experience coaching, mentoring and managing a team.
• Willingness to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills
