Room Attendant

About the role

As a Room Attendant at Mondrian Singapore Duxton, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of cleanliness and comfort in guest rooms and associated areas, ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming and immaculate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service bedrooms, bathrooms and all associated areas according to hotel hygiene standards.
• Re‑sheet rooms daily with fresh linen, remove creases, dust furniture, vacuum thoroughly and replenish guest supplies.
• Record serviced rooms, report any rooms that cannot be serviced and handle lost‑property procedures.
• Maintain VIP gifts, guest room flowers and plants, and ensure proper disposal of rubbish and dirty linen.
• Inspect and report any damage to bedding, curtains, blinds or equipment, and assist with stock‑taking and special cleaning projects.
• Follow key signing procedures, handle guest enquiries and complaints promptly, and uphold the hotel’s housekeeping policies.

Required profile

• Ability to work under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping or delegated management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with guests and respond to their needs.
• Reliability and willingness to follow established procedures and report issues promptly.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
