Sales Engineer – Controls Solutions

About the role

As a Sales Engineer focusing on Controls, you will manage account portfolios, engage directly with customers, and identify growth opportunities for Building Management System (BMS) solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor, matching client needs with Johnson Controls’ advanced control technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand requirements and propose suitable Controls/BMS solutions.
• Generate sales leads through visits, networking, and outreach, including cold calls when needed.
• Promote BMS products to design institutes, industry associations, and integrators to build market awareness.
• Maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction.
• Develop and execute annual secured‑order strategies aligned with departmental sales targets.
• Prepare tenders and proposals, negotiate bids, and secure profitable orders.
• Track order progress and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Provide monthly reports on secured orders, revenue, and key performance indicators.
• Continuously update knowledge of Controls/BMS products and industry trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant sales or engineering experience.
• Self‑motivated, hardworking, and positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and selling abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Building Management System (BMS) solutions.
• Familiarity with Controls products and technologies.
