Sales Executive – Merchant Acquisition

About the role

ONE Payments is seeking a Sales Executive – Merchant Acquisition to expand its merchant network in Singapore. The role is hands‑on, focusing on acquiring new merchants across F&B, retail and other sectors and guiding them through the onboarding journey.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and acquire new merchant customers, initially targeting F&B and retail businesses.
• Generate and manage a pipeline through canvassing, cold calling, referrals, networking and events.
• Present ONE Payments’ solutions – payment terminals, online acceptance and value‑added services – and recommend suitable options.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and pitching to negotiation and closing.
• Negotiate commercial terms within approved guidelines and meet individual and team acquisition targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support merchants during onboarding.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with onboarded merchants, conducting regular check‑ins.
• Develop partnerships with referral partners, POS providers and business associations.
