SAP BTP / CPI Technical Architect

About the role

ABeam Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Architect to lead the end‑to‑end technical architecture and governance of SAP cloud solutions. The role spans SuccessFactors, SAP Business Technology Platform, Integration Suite, and identity services, ensuring secure, scalable, and standards‑compliant implementations across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the overall SAP technical architecture covering SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, BTP, Integration Suite and related applications.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and gaps, and propose remediation strategies.
• Provide technical leadership for SuccessFactors implementations, advising on standard capabilities, APIs, extensions and integration patterns.
• Design and oversee solutions on SAP BTP, including CPI, API Management, SAP Build and Cloud Connector, establishing integration standards for API‑led, event‑driven and file‑based scenarios.
• Lead identity and security architecture for SAP IAS and IPS, ensuring compliance with authentication, SSO, encryption and access‑control requirements.
• Review and approve architecture documents, technical designs, interface specifications and security models, establishing governance frameworks across projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an SAP Technical Architect on cloud implementations.
• Deep understanding of the SAP cloud landscape, including SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, BTP and Integration Suite.
• Ability to guide functional consultants, developers and infrastructure teams on architectural decisions.
