Senior Assistant Manager, Content & Web Management Specialist

About the role

The Asian School of the Environment at Nanyang Technological University is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager, Content & Web Management Specialist to build and run its websites and to design the graphics and animations that bring its research to life online. The role is hands-on, combining technical website work with creative production, and sits at the Yunnan Garden campus.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, update and publish content across websites running on Sitefinity, Wix, GoDaddy Website Builder and WordPress
• Build pages, landing pages and microsites, and support redesigns and platform migrations
• Keep sites healthy: domains, records, certificates, redirects, page speed, search visibility and accessibility
• Create graphics, illustrations, infographics, banners and layouts for websites, social media, events and publications
• Produce motion graphics and animations, including explainer sequences and titles
• Produce visual content for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Bluesky, Facebook and YouTube
• Work with faculty and researchers to turn complex research into clear digital content
• Build templates, workflows and design systems for the team

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in communications, digital media, graphic or visual design, computer science, IT or a related field; equivalent experience with a strong portfolio also considered
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience combining website management with graphic design and motion graphics
• Proven experience managing several live websites on multiple platforms
• Portfolio and showreel showing website work and design or animation work, with details of each project
• Ability to manage several projects and deadlines and explain technical constraints to non-technical people

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Sitefinity, Wix, GoDaddy Website Builder and WordPress
• HTML, CSS and enough JavaScript for embeds and third-party scripts
• Domain and hosting basics, including redirects and certificates
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects
• Responsive design, web accessibility, page performance and on-page SEO
