Senior Auditor

About the role

The Senior Auditor will lead audit engagements for a portfolio of clients, overseeing planning, risk assessment, testing of controls, substantive procedures, and the preparation of audit reports. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Singapore and involves direct client interaction and mentorship of junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and complete audit engagements, including risk assessment and testing of internal controls.
• Perform substantive and analytical procedures and draft audit findings and recommendations.
• Supervise, review and coach junior staff, ensuring quality of work papers.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and firm methodologies.
• Engage with clients to understand their business, address technical queries and present audit results.
• Contribute to engagement budgeting, timelines and identify process improvements.
• Support internal quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Required profile

• Recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) and a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Prior external audit experience, preferably in a professional services or international firm.
• Proven ability to lead audit teams, manage engagement timelines and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and continuous professional development.
