Senior Group Tax Manager

About the role

Dyson is seeking an experienced Senior Group Tax Manager to lead tax matters across the global business. The role involves overseeing tax provisions, consolidation, compliance and reporting to support growth and meet obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage preparation and review of entity tax provisions and analysis for accurate reporting in the Group’s consolidated financial statements.
• Own the Group tax consolidation process and prepare tax disclosures for the consolidated statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, respond to tax queries and ensure timely resolution of audit matters.
• Prepare tax reporting and analysis for senior management and Board, communicating complex tax issues to non‑tax stakeholders.
• Lead forecasting and monitoring of the Group’s effective tax rate, collaborating with finance teams to gather data and assess tax impacts.
• Manage Pillar Two compliance and reporting, working with external advisors and internal stakeholders to prepare and submit required filings.
• Monitor Pillar Two legislative developments, assess impact and oversee implementation of changes.
• Own Country‑by‑Country Reporting obligations, ensuring compliance with traditional and public CbCR requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of tax reporting processes, controls and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Degree level education or equivalent with an accounting and/or tax qualification.
• Strong technical and operational tax accounting experience, gained in‑house or a mix of in‑house and practice; Pillar 2 experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships, lead people and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, complex, ever‑changing environment.
