Senior Information Technology Security Officer

About the role

ASTEK is seeking a Senior Information Technology Security Officer to join its Singapore team. The role focuses on designing and implementing secure systems, protecting cloud‑native environments, and supporting incident response across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain security architecture and secure system designs.
• Perform threat modelling and guide vulnerability validation and remediation.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes environments.
• Integrate and support developer‑centric security tools, including AI‑driven workflows and coding assistants.
• Configure and operate SIEM and EDR platforms and cloud‑native security monitoring.
• Develop and contribute to detection logic, incident response playbooks and threat‑hunting processes.
• Automate security tooling and workflows using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Manage identity and access, secrets, and apply zero‑trust principles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security architecture, secure system design and threat modelling.
• Proven experience in vulnerability validation and remediation.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, SIEM, EDR and cloud‑native security.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted developer tools.
• Knowledge of IAM, secrets management and zero‑trust concepts.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CISSP or equivalent.
