Senior Machine Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Senior Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for sustaining line equipment to ensure production output, minimize scrap, and maintain quality. The role focuses on keeping production equipment running with minimal downtime while driving efficiency and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across assigned lines.
• Lead equipment maintenance efforts, including set‑up, buy‑off, type conversion, fine‑tuning, and optimization.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, calibrations, and tool checks according to schedule.
• Mentor and train junior technicians, providing guidance on complex tasks.
• Analyze equipment data to identify improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with CSR, EHS, QM, ESD, 5S standards and cleanroom protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical certificate.
• At least 3 years of relevant technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to work with minimal guidance and meet deadlines.
• Leadership capability to support junior staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Level 2 troubleshooting skills on at least one major equipment type.
• Experience with equipment repair, type conversion, preventive maintenance, and calibration.
