Senior Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Senior Operations Supervisor to lead site operations for our Underground Utilities Infrastructure division in Singapore. The role acts as the primary bridge between field teams, project managers and clients, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑work site surveys to verify conditions and confirm project start dates.
• Direct multiple site teams executing water service works, pipe laying and emergency repairs across Singapore.
• Ensure all construction activities follow approved method statements, project specifications and statutory standards.
• Serve as the on‑site point of contact for public relations, handling notices and resolving complaints promptly.
• Partner with project teams to optimise work schedules, equipment allocation and manpower deployment.
• Monitor departmental budgets, implement cost‑control measures and prepare daily progress reports.
• Track, analyse and report operational metrics and performance indicators to senior management.
• Supervise, evaluate and mentor field personnel, identifying training needs and career development pathways.
• Champion a zero‑harm safety culture by enforcing EHS policies and taking corrective action for non‑compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising large‑scale underground utility or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s building codes, statutory regulations and EHS standards.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and improve project profitability.
