Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Leighton Asia is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its infrastructure projects across Asia. The role involves managing cost control, variations, and claims while supporting procurement and subcontractor activities on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits and coordinate with project teams to verify contract compliance.
• Update monthly project progress data and enter cost details into JD Edwards or FPM systems.
• Prepare draft progress claims, variations, and contractual notices for client submission.
• Maintain a register of all variations and claims and support negotiation with clients.
• Lead tender document preparation, source subcontractors, and create draft sub‑contract agreements.
• Track sub‑contractor performance, produce month‑end cost‑to‑date and forecast reports, and highlight budget deviations.
• Verify accuracy of sub‑contractor claims and respond to correspondence in line with contract requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying within construction or infrastructure projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with JD Edwards cost control system.
• Experience using FPM project cost control software.
