Resident Architect

About the role

The Resident Architect will be based on site full‑time, leading the consultant’s site staff team through project completion and handover. This role ensures compliance with Singapore regulations, client requirements, and maintains high quality standards throughout construction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the architectural site staff and the entire consultant site team.
• Review project drawings and specifications, flagging discrepancies and technical issues.
• Identify and resolve construction‑related technical problems, coordinating with qualified persons and consultants.
• Supervise construction works, enforce quality control, and ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and methods.
• Monitor project progress schedules and maintain comprehensive site documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture recognised by the Board of Architects Singapore or equivalent accreditation.
• At least 10 years of local experience supervising major building works, architectural elements and fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore statutes, codes and regulations.
• Proven leadership ability and a solid track record in large‑scale mixed‑use, commercial or institutional projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer 3D programmes.
