Senior Systems Engineer – Windows AD, Nutanix & NetBackup

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Singapore. You will own the design, implementation and ongoing management of Windows Active Directory, Nutanix hyper‑converged platforms and NetBackup solutions, ensuring reliability, security and optimal performance across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Windows Active Directory environments, including user accounts, group policies and security settings.
• Administer Nutanix hyper‑converged infrastructure, optimise resource allocation and monitor system performance.
• Manage NetBackup backup and disaster‑recovery processes, define policies and execute recovery procedures.
• Monitor all infrastructure components, respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python or similar tools to streamline routine tasks.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams on capacity planning, upgrades and infrastructure enhancements.
• Document configurations, procedures and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards.
• Mentor junior team members and support other departments as needed.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering.
• 3+ years managing Windows Active Directory environments.
• 2+ years working with Nutanix or similar hyper‑converged platforms.
• 2+ years operating NetBackup or comparable enterprise backup solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and incident‑management skills.
