Software Engineer – Google Pay Shopping

About the role

Google is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Google Pay Shopping team, building seamless cross‑platform shopping experiences for billions of users. You will work on a critical product that connects consumers with merchants, leveraging cutting‑edge technologies across mobile and web.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Flutter (Dart) codebase delivering Android and iOS shopping experiences within Google Pay.
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX leads to design and implement new user‑facing features.
• Integrate AI/ML models from partner teams such as Google Shopping and ARML into the client application.
• Work across the full stack, including backend services in Java, Python, Go or C++ and frontend technologies like JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience (or 1 year with an advanced degree).
• Full‑stack development experience, including backend and frontend work.
• Experience building mobile or front‑end client applications that scale globally.
