Staff Analog Design Engineer

Analog Devices is seeking a Staff Analog Design Engineer to lead the creation of next‑generation high‑performance mixed‑signal ICs for optical controller products. The role combines system‑level architecture work with detailed transistor‑level design, ensuring innovative solutions that meet stringent performance and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop architecture for high‑performance mixed‑signal ICs, balancing system‑level trade‑offs and transistor‑level decisions.
• Own block‑level design and full‑cycle circuit implementation, including comprehensive simulation and verification.
• Create Product Objective Specifications covering die size, package, pinout, block diagrams, and electrical parameters.
• Support layout, laboratory evaluation, testing, qualification, and product engineering to guarantee successful delivery.

Required profile

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with experience in analog/mixed‑signal IC development.
• Proven design experience with switching power supply circuits or precision ADC/DAC.
• Experience integrating analog blocks (converters, power management, etc.) into complex microcontroller systems is a plus.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor device structure and fabrication is advantageous.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
