Team Manager – Luxury Retail (Changi Airport)

About the role

As a Team Manager for a luxury retail store at Changi Airport, you will lead a dedicated team of Client Advisors, ensure a superior client experience, drive sales across all product categories, and support day‑to‑day store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team of Client Advisors on the shop floor.
• Conduct regular performance conversations, set action plans and provide ongoing feedback.
• Recruit, onboard and manage the employee lifecycle using Workday and local processes.
• Partner with the Store Manager and HR on employee relations and policy adherence.
• Support store opening and closing as Manager on Duty and lead daily briefings.
• Drive cross‑category selling and ensure the team can sell all product lines.
• Implement clienteling tools to build lasting client relationships and meet KPI targets.
• Manage customer flow, resolve issues promptly and maintain exceptional service standards.
• Monitor category performance, provide feedback to merchandising and visual teams, and support product knowledge training.
• Utilise digital platforms to enhance both in‑store and online sales.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading retail teams, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Strong coaching and motivational skills with a focus on employee development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset to monitor performance and propose action plans.
• Customer‑centric attitude with the ability to handle complex client situations.
