Account Manager

About the role

The Account Manager will be responsible for growing existing client relationships while actively prospecting new business opportunities in the ICT sector. You will work closely with channel partners, distributors and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure a seamless order‑to‑cash process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed account plans, including customer profiling and business need analysis.
• Prospect new customers through cold calls, face‑to‑face meetings, conferences, marketing activities and networking events.
• Collaborate with channel partners, distributors and technical teams to design and deliver effective ICT solutions.
• Process orders accurately, oversee delivery, receipt and invoicing, and follow up on quotations and sales deliveries.
• Provide regular updates to management on sales opportunities, pipeline status, activities and market feedback.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales revenue and gross profit targets.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain healthy accounts receivable.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma with 3–5 years of corporate sales experience in ICT solutions or related fields.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales and gross profit targets.
• Strong account management and business development capabilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively and meet project timelines.
