Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Singapore Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support multiple Singapore entities by ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and smooth execution of key finance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of financial accounting activities, including month‑end closing, journal entries, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for Group reporting requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reporting and management‑accounting deliverables.
• Handle tax filing matters such as GST, SST, VAT, and withholding tax where applicable.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits, special audits, and XBRL filings by preparing audit schedules and related documentation.
• Partner with Group Finance and cross‑functional stakeholders to support business and reporting needs.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial firms, and regulatory authorities on finance‑related matters.
• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes, controls, and documentation while supporting ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, statutory reporting, and tax compliance requirements.
• Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Oracle ERP (preferred).
• Competence with Microsoft Office applications.
