Actuarial Services, Life Insurance – Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Actuarial Services team focused on life insurance. You will work with insurers, reinsurers, regulators and third‑party administrators to provide strategic actuarial advice across a range of projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver life‑insurance actuarial advisory services, including solvency, capital modelling and risk management.
• Provide seasonal audit support and assist with regulatory reporting (ORSA, IFRS 17, RBC, etc.).
• Support clients on mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, and new legislation impacts.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and detailed actuarial reports.
• Collaborate with a team of 20+ actuarial professionals in Singapore and a broader network across Asia.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of actuarial experience in life insurance, consulting or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of reserving, ERM, valuation, capital modelling, reinsurance and regulatory reporting.
• Progress toward an internationally recognised actuarial qualification.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong interpersonal skills.
• Self‑starter able to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Familiarity with actuarial modelling software (specific tools not required).
