AI Banking Process Transformation Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Subject Matter Expert to lead AI‑driven transformation of banking processes. The consultant will work closely with business, technology and change teams to redesign end‑to‑end finance and banking operations, improving efficiency, controls and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior domain advisor for banking process transformation initiatives.
• Review, map and analyse current‑state processes to identify bottlenecks, control gaps and AI optimisation opportunities.
• Partner with operations, finance, product, risk and technology teams to define future‑state workflows and practical implementation recommendations.
• Assess how AI, GenAI and intelligent automation can enhance productivity, decisioning, exception handling and document processing.
• Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and requirement discussions with stakeholders.
• Translate business pain points into transformation use cases, business cases and impact assessments.
• Ensure recommendations align with banking controls, compliance and operational risk frameworks.
• Advise on digitisation of banking assets, including tokenisation‑linked processes.

Required profile

• Senior Subject Matter Expert with deep end‑to‑end banking process expertise.
• Experience in Credit/Lending (corporate, commercial, wholesale) or Payments/Treasury domains.
• Strong knowledge of loan origination, underwriting, credit assessment, collateral management, and payment workflows.
• Exposure to asset digitisation or tokenisation is a plus.
