APAC Controller & Vertical Finance Lead

About the role

Binance is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead financial controllership and day‑to‑day finance management for multiple APAC legal entities. The role will ensure accurate accounting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls across diverse jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end finance operations for APAC entities, including month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Oversee bank, asset, intercompany, accounts payable/receivable, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, provisions, invoices, and payment requests.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports in line with accounting standards and group policies.
• Ensure timely regulatory, statutory, tax, and compliance filings with internal teams and external advisors.
• Manage relationships with banks, vendors, accounting service providers, tax advisors, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, Global Accounting, Legal, Compliance, and business teams to support smooth operations.
• Maintain accounting quality, define treatments for new products, and resolve reporting gaps.
• Develop and document internal control procedures, identify risks, and drive remediation.
• Lead audit coordination and support continuous improvement of accounting systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance and accounting for multinational entities.
• Strong knowledge of APAC regulatory, statutory, and tax requirements.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across banks, auditors, and service providers.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills to ensure accounting accuracy.
