Application Developer – AI & Workflow Automation

About the role

We are looking for an Application Developer specialized in AI and workflow automation to join a leading bank in Singapore on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building and maintaining automation solutions that improve business processes and support data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Identify automation and AI opportunities across banking processes.
• Gather requirements and run workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, scripts and low‑code automation solutions.
• Build and maintain Python‑based automation and data‑processing tools.
• Analyse structured and unstructured data using SQL and related tools.
• Document requirements, solution designs, user guides and technical documentation.
• Drive solution adoption, collect feedback and continuously improve delivered solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in automation, workflow improvement, data or business analytics, or AI‑enabled productivity solutions.
• Proven stakeholder‑management, requirements‑gathering and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage initiatives from concept through delivery.

• Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Agent Builder, Glean (or similar AI/workflow platforms)
