Architectural Coordinator

About the role

The Architectural Coordinator leads the site design team, overseeing architectural draftspersons and BIM designers to deliver accurate, buildable shop drawings. You will work closely with structural and M&E coordinators, ensuring that all design outputs align with the project master programme and meet Singapore regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the architectural design team and manage the production of shop drawings.
• Liaise with structural, M&E, architects, design consultants and sub‑contractors to resolve design intent and technical issues.
• Identify discrepancies, assess buildability, and evaluate cross‑discipline impacts.
• Ensure critical dimensions and details are highlighted, workable, and coordinated with other trades.
• Maintain consistency between architectural and consultant drawings.
• Uphold safety practices on site and adhere to relevant authority guidelines (BCA, SCDF, LTA).

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience on projects with a contract value of at least $100 million.
• Proven ability to coordinate design intent and spot areas of concern.
• Understanding of structural and M&E drawings.
• Experience communicating design concepts through clear hand sketches.
• Familiarity with Singapore authority requirements and contractual obligations.
• Completed at least one residential, mixed‑use, or commercial building project.
