Architectural Coordinator

About the role

The Architectural Coordinator will oversee and manage the architectural components of construction projects, ensuring alignment with design intent, construction plans, and regulatory standards. This role bridges the gap between design teams, consultants, and on‑site trades to deliver coordinated, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site inspections for structural and architectural trades, including façade and precast installations.
• Check and coordinate shop drawings and as‑built drawings across architectural, structural, MEP, and specialist subcontractors.
• Support the full tendering process, preparing documents, coordinating meetings, and recording minutes.
• Create presentation slides for client briefings and decision‑making.
• Review project specifications, shop drawings, and technical clarifications.
• Prepare and monitor shop‑drawing and sample schedules in line with procurement timelines.
• Manage submission, approval, receipt, and issuance of consultant and shop drawings.
• Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors throughout construction.
• Resolve technical and coordination issues, track claim‑related actions, and attend consultant technical meetings.
• Prepare method statements for consultant approval.

Required profile

• Recognised degree or diploma in Architecture, Project Management, Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in construction or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of architectural trades and coordination processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Navisworks.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit/BIM software.
• 3D modelling and visualisation using SketchUp.
• Ability to coordinate and check architectural, M&E, and structural workshop drawings.
