Architectural Coordinator

About the role

The Architectural Coordinator supports the lead architect in aligning design details with client, consultant and contractor requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. This role bridges design and construction teams to deliver high‑quality building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Architect in coordinating design details between clients, consultants, and contractors to align architectural designs with project requirements, regulations, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop architectural designs, schedules, and construction plans.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure progress is in line with project goals.
• Review project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings to assist in contract and procurement management.
• Resolve on‑site architectural issues, such as drawing discrepancies, method statements, and project correspondence.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction aligns with approved architectural plans.
• Work with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to solve technical issues as they arise.
• Coordinate the preparation and submission of architectural drawings, shop drawings, mock‑ups, and material samples, ensuring proper implementation and approval.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination, preferably on large‑scale construction projects.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
