Architectural Designer

About the role

Aedas is seeking an Architectural Designer to develop and refine design concepts and documentation across a variety of project types. You will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors, contributing to the creation of sustainable, high‑quality built environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine conceptual, schematic and detailed architectural designs.
• Prepare, manage and update architectural drawings and documentation, including revisions.
• Coordinate design input with consultants, contractors and external design teams.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits.
• Conduct compliance checks against statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support project leaders with change documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience from concept through design development and construction documentation.
• Experience with large‑scale, hotel or mixed‑use developments is an advantage.
• Familiarity with statutory submissions, local regulations and codes.
• Professional certifications such as GMAP, GMAAP or UD Assessor are a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in BIM using Revit Architecture.
• Competence with Bluebeam for document management.
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for visual presentations.
