Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead sales activities across the designated region, building a healthy order intake pipeline and driving revenue growth for OneOcean’s maritime solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create tactics and strategies to achieve sales goals aligned with company strategy.
• Maintain a healthy order backlog and provide accurate sales forecasts per major account.
• Monitor market, customer and competitor activity and relay insights to leadership.
• Promote the OneOcean product portfolio to existing and prospective customers.
• Guide customers through contract signing and upsell where appropriate.
• Collect and share customer and market feedback internally.
• Manage tenders, RFPs and own the submission process.
• Oversee regional sales opportunities and ensure CRM records are up‑to‑date.
• Report on team performance, sales plans and activities.
• Represent the company at local and international events.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in sales roles, preferably in the maritime sector.
• Knowledge of maritime environment and training products.
• Fluent English spoken and written.
• Strong work ethic, autonomy and ability to adapt to constant change.
• High integrity, structured mindset and proven leadership skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication abilities.
