Asia Feedstock Operations Specialist – Trading Operations

About the role

The Asia Feedstock Operations Specialist supports the Feedstocks & Oxyfuels trading team by managing the full lifecycle of physical cargo operations across Asia. You will ensure smooth execution of FOB, CFR and DAP shipments, from vessel vetting to cargo discharge, while maintaining compliance with company strategies and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day cargo operations, including vessel vetting, stowage planning, voyage order issuance and inspector nomination.
• Handle commercial documentation such as Letters of Credit, billing, payment advices and dispute resolution.
• Monitor and update vessel itineraries, manage LC handling and ensure timely cargo discharge.
• Calculate demurrage, negotiate claims and settle disputes with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate trade data for audit and internal approval processes.
• Provide daily operational updates to the trader and proactively address potential issues.

Required profile

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and situation awareness throughout the trade lifecycle.
• Experience in feedstock or commodity trading operations is preferred.
