Material Control Planner

About the role

The Material Control Planner will ensure the timely availability of materials for production by monitoring supplier orders, coordinating forecasts, and managing inventory levels. You will work closely with global vendor planners, production planners, and warehouse teams to support seamless material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track supplier purchase orders and forecasts to guarantee on‑time material delivery.
• Liaise with global vendor planners to confirm shipment conformance.
• Collaborate with production planners to align forecasts with supplier capabilities.
• Ensure supplier compliance with delivery schedules, service standards, and procedures.
• Strategize material control to meet inventory targets and reduce excess stock.
• Manage material stock and transactions using SAP.
• Coordinate material movement, planning, and expediting with logistics and production teams.
• Support new program start‑up coordination and related logistics activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in materials management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong coordination and communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP for material and inventory management.
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
