Assistant Architectural Manager – Hospital Project

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Architectural Manager to support a major hospital construction project for a leading main contractor. The role offers strong site exposure, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and the opportunity to contribute to a high‑profile healthcare facility.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural and technical matters with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Plan and manage architectural works, finishes and interfaces with structural and M&E trades.
• Review and coordinate drawings, shop drawings, material submissions and method statements.
• Monitor site activities to ensure quality, progress and timely completion.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, EHS and statutory requirements.
• Lead architectural and interior design coordination, including reflected ceiling plans.
• Resolve technical issues and discrepancies with consultants and subcontractors.
• Guide the architectural team to meet quality and programme targets.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Architectural Studies, Building or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in architectural coordination, construction or site management.
• Experience with main contractors preferred; hospital or large‑scale building project experience advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of architectural specifications, finishes and construction coordination.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
